In the words of Felice Limosani: "Two ribbons flowing in opposite directions, interlocking
between the columns of the inner upper cloister of the Cà Granda. A symbolic representation of the
contradictions and excesses that require a collective rethinking of sustainability. The idea contrasts,
through key words, the paradoxes that dramatically coexist on our planet, with the hope that the future
can find a renewed harmony." Thus, this is the main theme underlying the complex technical engineering
addressed in this project. A large facade on which to slide a ribbon, enabled by a precise system of rollers
and electric motors, allowing it to move between the columns of the building.
Continuous preparation, analysis, and field testing have solved the technical setup issues, giving rise to an
original "flow of words" that is always in motion, made possible by a fabric ribbon running on a system of
electric motors.
